Automatic Traffic Counter and Classifier
Automatic Traffic Counter and Classifier (ATCC)

The ATCC is an advanced system used to detect, count, and classify vehicles based on parameters such as length, axle configuration, and speed. It plays a key role in modern traffic management and intelligent transportation systems (ITS).

The technology uses sensors such as inductive loops, radar, infrared, or video-based systems to accurately capture vehicle movement. It can differentiate between vehicle types like cars, buses, trucks, and multi-axle vehicles, ensuring reliable traffic data collection.

ATCC systems are designed to provide real-time data transmission to a central control centre through communication networks like OFC or GSM. The collected data is stored securely and can typically be retained for more than a month, depending on traffic volume and system configuration.
